Rohingya

Hell on this earth; this Geographic article says it all.....  No matter how calm and well lived we are in this country, it should never be forgotten that others in this world cope and live in the most terrible conditions.  Someone on the radio said we are all equal as human beings, yet brutality and cruelty is the lot of these poor people.

  1. I can't remember who it was who said, 'Man's inhumanity to man makes countless thousands mourn' - but I do know that what is happening in Myanmar at the moment is appalling - we cannot begin to imagine what it must be like. I had high hopes when Aung Sang Su Chi took over - now I hear that she is not really totally in charge. Sometimes I feel like not looking at the News because it is full of such brutality in so many places and one feels so helpless.

  3. Don't worry about the spelling I can't even say her name much to the amusement of Paul. But its stark grimness of how wicked humans can be to each other is frightening.

  4. These are times that make it very difficult to accept ones abundanct blessings while others suffer so much.
