I have read before about St.Peter on the Wall and am enormously intrigued about places like this. These are some of the most beautiful and clear photos I have seen and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing them. As I may never be able to visit this wonderful place in person, so today I can live vicariously through your blog and photos. Your description of this place was so evocative and transported me there in thought. Thank you so much.Xabbesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18396269014689223612noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5613585301584630832.post-70836925224918325802008-11-05T17:23:00.000+00:002008-11-05T17:23:00.000+00:00Hi to you both, it is lonely but can you remember ...Hi to you both, it is lonely but can you remember BB St.Non's chapel near to St.David, and St.Justinian as well, will put them both up, for they both have that bleak outlook to sea. St.Non's chapel is of course supposed to be built inside a circle.<BR/>Alex is was a wonderful experience going there, listening to the birds in the marsh as well.thelmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934860502828923562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5613585301584630832.post-37714011479612320622008-11-04T18:24:00.000+00:002008-11-04T18:24:00.000+00:00The little chapel built by Cedd is a truly unique ...The little chapel built by Cedd is a truly unique and inspiring place. Strange thing was, when I looked at the first photo, the word Lindisfarne came into my mind . . . thought it's years since we visited Lindisfarne and I've heard nothing about it recently.
