Where I kept my pony was somewhere nearer town.thelmahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00934860502828923562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5613585301584630832.post-13005647678889458742016-11-12T16:06:34.668+00:002016-11-12T16:06:34.668+00:00I am glad you have settled in so well. Our community is pretty spread out, though I did meet one of the "new" incomers properly this morning, and we had an enjoyable chat. He's been here since 2010 but I've only ever seen him in the distance before.

Perhaps churches will become meeting places of a different sort, a sort of village hall where there isn't one, or perhaps they will just be allowed to moulder away . . .Bovey Bellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13117332471600275100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5613585301584630832.post-53007421336372146152016-11-12T14:43:49.260+00:002016-11-12T14:43:49.260+00:00It is nice to read how quickly you have settled in...It is nice to read how quickly you have settled into village life over there Thelma. It sounds as though you will be great assets to the village life.
Didn't you once tell me you spent much of your childhood in Castlecroft, Wolverhampton - and that you had a pony? One of my friends who is staying the weekend (he is 66 by the way) lived in Castlecroft for the first thirty years of his life and remembers well that there were ponies in a field at the bottom of their road and that his father used to take him down to feed them. His name is Peter Bayliss - can't help wondering if you know one another - does the name mean anything to you?The Weaver of Grasshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13947971556343746883noreply@blogger.com
