Here in Kentucky--and apparently in other south-central parts of the USA--it is daffodils which have gone wild and spread over roadside verges and into pastures and fields. The locals refer to them as 'March lilies'--which this year have flowered in February and are not about over.Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5613585301584630832.post-2486858270114949712017-02-27T07:09:37.608+00:002017-02-27T07:09:37.608+00:00Hi Wendy, the daffodils are just about coming into...Hi Wendy, the daffodils are just about coming into flower in the churchyard, tulip leaves are about 6 inches high. They're such pretty little flowers. I guess they are your hearty end of winter/beginning of spring flowers. We have daffodils and hyacinths and tulips here but it's too early yet. Some have been popping thru the earth but I don't know how well they'll do. I'm not convinced that we're finish with snow here in New York!! I think that person who commented on your pretty girl Lucy was rude. Maybe this fall I should dig them up and plant them a few other places.Taborhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15257045780724471840noreply@blogger.com
