What a lovely walk. Mine are all "on-lane" at present, as I am trying not to use the car at all for excursions of the walking nature - e.g. driving TO somewhere for a walk. There is a Boxing Day walk at Newton House where I volunteer, and I am hoping we can make it a family occasion, especially as it takes in the part of the park with Maiden Oaks a thousand years old.
Meanwhile, just round the lanes for me, and that nowhere near often enough for my waistline!
I did actually write something on this blog then swiped it by mistake Jenny. But yes walking is vaguely good for your waistline if the walk is long! Thinking of getting a bike in the new year, there are plenty of cycle paths round here, straight and flat, not like Whitby with its hills....
