Over and over, tRUMP has insisted that he is merely returning power to the states. Abortion? Let states decide. Curriculum? Let the states decide. Until it comes to people speaking up. Then by God, the federal government must put an end to that.
Most people with clear eyes can see through the machinations of Trump's wickedness. I was surprised yesterday how very, very large Los Angeles was and how the protest group was only in a tiny corner Debby. Also see what Murrmurrs has written as well.
I know that the violence is isolated. It is also not one sided. a group of at least 10 LAPD shot a lone woman who was walking to her apartment. Reporters are being targeted, probably out of fear that the official narrative will be challenged. For all the people being taken into custody, last night, only 9 of them had criminal backgrounds.
I have read so much how this particular system is working that I can't say anything new Debby. Today I watched someone being chased down the fields and caught. But of course sending immigrants to who knows where, is cutting of your nose to spite your face. If there is no one to bring in the crops, there will be empty shelves. all I can say that most countries would not even give Trump a place in government, that the Republicans standing firm behind him, knowing he is a fool is unbelievable.
It gets worse and worse each day. You know I am joining the No Kings protest on Saturday and hope we have a huge turnout. They arrested a Senator today and are going too far. They are getting sued over and over. It has to stop.
Well good luck on your protest Ellen, I will think of you and remember, as Murrmurrs says - "no violence. No vandalism. If someone in your midst looks to be causing trouble, they might be a plant. Everyone sit down on the ground immediately to expose the troublemakers. Stay calm. Stay united."
