The roses will come to an end soon, and maybe this blog for the time being, as I consider the way forward. But some flowers the garden has produced and a new rose, the stripey 'Rosamundi' an old rose that always intrigues me.

Dark and dramatic mallow, must have grown it from seed, there are pink and white forms in the garden |
An interesting rose Thelma - have not heard of it before. I shall be sorry if you stop blogging as I have enjoyed our contact.
ReplyDeleteWell it won't be permanent and I shall still comment on other blogs Pat. I think the history side of my nature needs to read more. Saw a beautiful purple rose in someone's garden the other day.
ReplyDeleteI hope you won't permanently stop blogging! We go through 'dry spells' when there seems little write about, at least not what we are comfortable sharing. I find when I don't post for several weeks that I miss having the record of photos and words to jog my own memory.
ReplyDeleteRoses here have succumbed to heat, excessive rain and the annual invasion of Japanese beetles.
No I won't Sharon, as you say we go through dry spells and this is perhaps one of them. My roses lie in the heat on the grass, and of course coming out too fast as well.
DeleteYour roses are lovely.
ReplyDeleteI understand your thoughts about moving on from Blogger. I would miss reading your always well written blog. Because of circumstances, I have taken a long two months break from posting. I intend to get back sometime soon, but wonder if too much time has passed.
I notice you take 'long breaks', think it must get difficult restarting the engine but if circumstance dictates it. And no time is epheremal....
