Once more we record another IS attack, this time in London, not going into detail it was horrendous. But just to state that my grandchild Matilda has Muslim friends and will support them to the hilt. It is only this generational time lapse that will bring peace eventually, and education of course.

And so to lesser things

Love the top rose and also the irises are such an unusual and beautiful colour.
ReplyDeleteRoses are my favourite, and they just love that wall. Irises were a surprise, must have ordered them though.
DeleteWe are just so saddened here in the states by all of the horrific news coming out of England. There really are no words for this. I'm so sorry that this is how life has become now. xoxo

Sadly these terrible happenings are confined to citys for maximum effect of course and many innocent people out for the day get caught up. We have had three major happenings in a fairly short time, and the response by the emergency services has been great, but we should not be here having to talk about it.
DeleteThank you for the advice on my knitting issues, patterns are a little like alchemy for me at this early stage!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm beyond words at what is happening in our lovely country!
Being a lazy knitter I like to knit without thought, and a simple 'fleur de lye' all over pattern makes me quite happy. Knit 6 in colour a, knit 3 in colour b. Next line, purl, but in the centre of the 3 knitted stitches knit b and you have a small triangle.
DeleteI habitually view animals through the lens of human attributes [anthropomorphizing?] and I must say that Lucy's stance and 'facial expressions' often have me chuckling. The joys of animal companionship make up [usually] for the mess and bother they create.
ReplyDeleteVery true Sharon, Lucy loves making a mess she scatters shoes, slippers and her toys through the house. But also (intelligently?) she will bring the teatowel after tea, a trowel in the garden when I'm gardening but her naughty side always unravels my wool if I am knitting.
