Wednesday

This was yesterday, more snow in the  night.

  1. We have had three or four inches overnight (sorry I can't estimate in centimetres and I am not going out with a ruler!) At present the sun
is out but the wind is getting up and that is not a good sign. My friend and I were looking forward to going to Kirby Lonsdale tomorrow but have had to cancel of course.
I am staying in with a book and a friend is taking Tess for a good walk after lunch. This morning, at my insistence, she went out and did a wee but when a flake of snow hit her nose she shot back in.

  2. Having the same problem with Lucy, just made her go out 10.45 for a pee before she burst. Think a lot of plans will go astray this week, and then Saturday is a fresh bout of bad weather. They still haven't given an end to it, only that it will get worse.

  3. It looks like a rather wet, grainy spring snow. Somehow we don't admire a snowscape as much when we are anxious for winter to be over.

  4. The problem is the icy temperatures and blizzard like winds. Also people not staying in when they have been told to. Result queues of car stuck on the motorway for 13 hours unable to move.
