Leo the artist having his painting hung by Aethan his uncle |
this one is some white bread I baked a couple of days ago, normally I use wholemeal flour but decided to have a change, it rose beautifully this white loaf, and Paul eats it with blackberry jelly, but really I am not keen on white bread.....
For colour
For humour
I love that painting. A budding artist of the future methinks.
ReplyDeleteAll little ones have artistic 'talents' for a time. In primary school one of my son's paintings framed hung on the head teacher's wall much to my surprise.;)
DeleteMy laundry walls are full of grandchildren art. When I ran out of room there, I started putting them on the walls of the staircase to the basement. Now the art of two of my grandchildren are in small shops and one is in a local museum. You never know, you might have a grandson who will become the next Picasso
ReplyDeleteI rather whole grain bread, but could not resist fresh warm bread of any kind.
I love the cartoon.
Yes I prefer whole grain bread to, but warm bread fresh out of the oven is hard to beat though apprently not good for your digestion.
DeleteThe cartoon made me smile. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteArilx
I occasionally have problems with grammar, my fingers hover uncertainly over a word.....
DeleteAh bread. I promise myself this winter to work on bread. I am not very good at it.
ReplyDeleteWarmth and kneading are the answers!
DeleteLove the cartoon---I might have corrected my children one too many times. Looks dangerous so I'll stop!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter always glares at me should I go so far with my grandchildren ;)
DeleteYour loaf of bread looks lovely--once in awhile white bread is a pleasant change.
ReplyDeleteLate roses from the garden are much cherished.
Yes, wento the garden centre yesterday, we have a very long border which is backed by a fence of virginia creepers and ivy, so I have decided to start shrubs in and leaf shapes in so it will stop the 'creepers' from moving right over the bed.
