Looking back at the cottage

Mary disapproved of painting this modern stable door blue

Top bedroom, had two cupboards which were so useful

Looking out onto the yard

The middle bedroom
The sheets got washed and ironed by a laundry, which also squashed all fastenings to my duvet covers.

Loved this little cupboard, still have it with some shelves on top.

Living with a small space

Work in progress

There was no bread oven behind that little door sadly

The kitchen was left as it was minus the tartan carpet.

  1. What a lovely place to live. I can understand why you look back fondly on this home.

    1. It is a bit weird how I miss it, also because it was so tiny as well.

  2. It all looks so cosy Thelma - how could you bear to leave it?

    1. Put it on the market and it was gone the same day. The estate agents already had someone on their books for it.

  3. Wasn't it lovely Thelma? You made it so welcoming. I am guessing you half wish you could buy it back.

    1. It definitely needed a garden though Jennie, and yes it would be ideal now. It was a bit of a squash when the family came round. But fish and chips round the corner in Silver Street and an Indian curry house as well.
