Fracking is totally unsafe and it is unsafe because of the chemicals that are pumped into the shale to extract the gas. It is those chemicals that cause the danger!
Agree of course, it is absolutely stupid even to think of going down this particular path, with all the dangers that can be unleashed on the environment.
