Play Time

I can only see the funny side of things of course!  The thought of the furniture shuffling out of No. 10 reminds me of the humour of the olden days.  Will he/won't he? Putting up a good fight though but who the hell wants a liar for a prime minister?
A helicopter is buzzing overhead, someone must have fallen off the rocks up on the moors, or broken an ankle.  There was a photo this morning of the great Yorkshire viaduct, whose name escapes me, further along there were at least three dozen land rovers, all for mountain rescue.......

  1. Brilliant poem - how can he hold on in there - blustering, almost makiing fun of it or apprearing to?

    1. Bluster is the word of course Pat, he has nothing else to fall back on. Waving his mandate from the people of a couple of years back won't do any good, the same people will be voting him out as soon as possible. Politics are a cruel game of course but when we have Pinocchi leading us, heaven forbid!!

    1. Sadly Johnson has the same tenacity for power as your Trump Debby.

  3. Great poem! I enjoyed that. I hope things settle down in your country. Mine is in such a frenzy and it worries me so.

    1. We will see Ellen of what happens in the future. We should all have realised that when Johnson talked of building a tree house for his children at the country residence of Chequers he wanted the job permanently.
