Today it is summer gardens. This one in Kirkbymoorside. Houses backed onto the main road, but behind the houses stretched long gardens. This garden was visited on an Open Garden Day and it was very hot.
This is what I call a lifetime garden, evolving and maturing over the years and there did not seem to be a weed in sight. Though at the bottom of the garden there was a small wild garden.
Thank you for the reminder that summer will come again and my garden will Never look that that!
ReplyDeleteLol at Sue's comment. Mine either!
ReplyDeleteI have never been able to have a weed-free garden! I just don't put in enough time and the weeds just wear me out. Those are lovely gardens but mine will never look like that either!
ReplyDeleteWell everyone I think the couple who gardened must have been very enthusiastic. I admire the clipped edges of the grass paths - that is real dedication.
