We are a textile education company. We produce fabric swatch kits and textile software for textile courses in colleges and universities. We are currently looking for quality images of jacquard looms to add to our textile software. We want to expose the students to as many different aspects of the textile industry as possible. Please let us know if you have any images that we could use. We will gladly give your company credit for the images.
Hi Amy, In fact these photos were taken by my partner on a trip to Japan as I am interested in weaving. So feel free to use what is there, plus there is a couple on this blog as well just below.....http://northstoke.blogspot.com/2009/11/nishijin-textile-centre-kyoto_19.html. If you want to attribute them, perhaps use Littlestone, his blog name as he is a conservationist in oriental paintings.. Japanese weaving is very interesting, especially their old 'firemen' jackets, beautifully woven with different patterns.
