Today we have been watching a tree surgeons fell an old beech, photos tomorrow, because Lucy is having a wash and brush-up and needs to be picked up.

    1. I noticed..... It was a sad business but the tree was hollow inside and did threaten our garage.

  4. I will answer at some stage EH, in many ways I was addressing the thoughts of another blogger. First thought is that we are too free with our assumptions, second that the writer addressed the problem very well, but figures do not necessarily make an argument. We are all aware of sofa surfing, homelessness, drugs and violence. Families going to food banks with tickets issued by the benefit system - that is wrong, as it is for children to be hungry in this country of ours.
