Thanks for the reminder that the solstice is near - cant come soon enough for me - it tends to be dark by half past three.
It seems to go on for ever this darkness, the hens are already going in at 3.30 as well.
Never heard that before, but I remember Jethro Tull. Thanks for sharing and another one here who can't wait for the Winter Solstice.
Think he was rather noisy in his time, but I do like the sound of bells.
