Easter Monday

Well I went off and found this little snippet of a video.  The little ones's Scottish accent is so cute, not a word I use often, but still.  I definitely wasn't as articulate as that at her age, and probably never questioned Jesus's relationship with Easter eggs. But enjoy.

Simon Thompson on his blog  mentioned stitchwort on their blog, a plant I look out for every year, and because I am being lazy about blog writing, collected my old blogs links......

  1. Yes Thelma, I too enjoyed Si's photograph of Stitchwort - in fact I enjoy all his flower (and bug/butterfly photographs - they are always a joy. As to that little girl with her Dad - a delight.

  2. Aw bless her - she's magic! LOVE that accent, and her confidence. She's right too, bunnies don't even lay eggs!!

Stitchwort is out here - has been for a couple of weeks now, but lots more than a fortnight ago since this sunshine of course.

  3. When I lived in Scotland it didn't take long to realise there is as greater variety in Scottish accents as in English ones. They sound western Scotland - Glasgow-ish.

  4. I chuckled merrily at that video. What a delightful little girl - posing some fascinating questions. What was Jesus's favourite chocolate? I guess it would have been Toblerone - the three corners representing The Holy Trinity.

  6. Well I'm glad you all enjoyed it, she was so bright. Also glad that Joanne managed to get past the Scottish accent.
